At Grandview Avenue West, MSP added a new return duct and filter housing with the AC. Ask how the indoor air path fits the new system. The outdoor unit is only part of it.
Ask where water goes
Our Terrace Drive AC job used a new drain pump and a route to a nearby sink. Show us your current drain. Ask whether a pump is needed and how it can be serviced. If you plan to replace that sink or finish the room, point it out now. Ask where the pump would drain after those changes.
Include a nearby outlet
The Terrace Drive job also added an outlet for the setup. Ask if power work is in your cooling quote. That helps keep the drain pump and other needed parts within the full project scope.
Keep useful controls
