What Is a HALO Water System?
The HALO water system is a whole-home water filtration and conditioning system installed at the point where water enters your home. That means every tap, shower, appliance, and water line in the house gets filtered water, not just one sink or one room.
Unlike traditional water softeners, the HALO system uses no salt and no chemicals. It filters and conditions your water through a multi-stage process that removes sediment, chlorine, chloramines, and other contaminants while also addressing hard water minerals. The result is water that tastes better, feels better, and is easier on your plumbing and appliances.
It’s a good fit for Twin Cities homeowners who want a low-maintenance, whole-home solution that handles filtration and conditioning in one system.

Stage 1: Sediment Filtration
Water first passes through a sediment filter that catches sand, dirt, and other large particles. This protects your plumbing and the filters downstream from clogging or damage.
Stage 2: Carbon Filtration
A high-grade carbon filter removes chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds. This is also what improves taste and eliminates odor.
Stage 3: Catalytic Carbon
A second carbon stage provides additional chlorine removal across a wide pH range, giving you an extra layer of protection for water safety.
Stage 4: Scale Control Media
A natural filter media reduces water turbidity and filters particles down to 5 microns, improving water clarity and removing fine sediment.
Stage 5: HALO ION Conditioner
The final stage uses multi-reversing magnetic fields to alter the molecular structure of calcium and magnesium. This addresses hard water without salt, preventing scale buildup in pipes and appliances without removing beneficial minerals.
