Is a replacement necessary

If the diagnostic shows the disposer cannot run, the motor is burned out, or the blades no longer grind food scraps, a replacement may be needed. Some units fail from age, noise, leaks, jams, or safety issues. We carry a range of garbage disposal models in our trucks, including continuous feed models and batch feed models. This allows a full replacement during the same visit.

A disposal problem can come from clogs in the opening, the sink drain, or the kitchen pipes. It can also come from a wall switch, wiring, or water flow. The plumber checks the blades, motor, speed, and access points to see if food waste, bones, trash, or scraps caused the jam. The goal is to find the issue and restore safe operation.

We confirm the appointment request

Repairing or replacing a garbage disposal starts with a call or an online form. Once the request enters the system, the time is confirmed. A reminder call is sent on the day of the visit to keep the visit covered and on schedule.

We send a licensed plumber to the home

A licensed plumber arrives and checks the disposer, the sink opening, and the food waste causing the jam. The plumber reviews the noise, odors, leaks, speed, and grinding power. A full diagnostic shows if the motor, blades, wiring, or switch need repair. If a replacement is wanted, a variety of models, including continuous feed and batch feed disposers, are shared.

We give an upfront quote for the work

After the cause is found or a new model is selected, a fixed price is shared. This protects the household from paying more than the agreed cost. The quote covers labor, installation, safety checks, and testing.

We repair or replace the garbage disposal

Once the work is approved, the plumber repairs or replaces the disposer. Repairs include clearing clogs, fixing jams, checking the motor, blades, switch, and wiring. New units are installed and tested for leaks, noise, performance, and grinding power with water and food scraps. The kitchen area is cleaned before the plumber leaves.
