Installed a new 50-gallon tall electric water heater and a new water softener, then verified power to the heater and cycled the softener to confirm it was running properly. Checked the city water hardness at 24 GPG, set the softener to 28, and recommended floor drain cleaning before wrapping up.
Found the old gate valve for the outside faucet leaking steadily inside the basement. Cut out the failing valve and replaced it with a new 3/4″ ball valve with a drain port, then checked that the leak was stopped.
Returned for a callback after the laundry faucet continued dripping following a previous repair. Replaced the laundry faucet and tested it to make sure the leak was resolved and everything was working as it should.

Dave did a great job of explaining everything well in regarding to switching from a gas furnace to a heat pump heating/cooling system and a heat pump hot water heater.
