Plumbing in Andover, MN
Andover's city water and your home's pipes both shape a plumbing visit. Start by telling us where the problem shows up and which water source you use.
Andover reports an average hardness of 13 grains in city water. That is a guide for a softener check. A test at your home helps us review its actual setting.
Andover's water system has two pressure zones. Tell us if weak flow affects one tap or the whole house. We can check your fixtures before assuming the supply is at fault.
The city asks residents to report water changes that do not clear. Note whether the change affects cold water too. That helps separate a supply concern from a hot water issue.
If a sink valve drips, show us the valve and the pipe below it. Tell us if it sticks or will not close. Do not force a valve that resists.
For your plumbing visit, note the first day you saw the problem. Tell MSP if you use city water or a well and which taps are affected.

Brian helped us with a cement-like blockage in one of our drains. A plumber from a different company was unable to clear the drain but Brian quickly assessed the problem and knew exactly how to fix it. He was extremely sincere, very determined and completed the work in roughly 1/2 of the time that he estimated. Outstanding experience!
Nick and overall experience with MSP was great. They were in and out in a day repairing a pipe break that required breaking up and re-patching a cement floor. Nick does a great job of explaining work through stages, ensuring thorough repair work and customer satisfaction. MSP schedulers also do a great job of communicating when technicians are assigned and on the way. Happy customer.
We were experiencing poor air flow on the air conditioning side of our HVAC system, throughout the house. .Jimmy was able to adjust the setting on the furnace motor. The air flow improved immediately. He also recommended we set the thermostat to “fan on” vs “auto” all the time. Jimmy was very friendly, knowledgeable and fast!
