Removed the existing furnace and installed a new 90–90 unit with a fresh 12×25 drop, air cleaner, filter rack, and torpedo boot while keeping the existing thermostat and A/C setup in place. Wrapped up with a walkthrough for the homeowner and confirmed proper airflow after updating the drop size from 10×25 to 12×25.
Installed a new 97% high-efficiency furnace with matching 2.5 ton condenser and coil, reusing and flushing the existing lineset, then added a new thermostat, Aprilaire 600 humidifier, filter boot, and return air drop. Set airflow for the 2.5 ton system, dialed in gas pressures, and went over rebates and new controls with the homeowner before wrapping up.
Responded to a no-heat call where the furnace was running but only blowing cold air and the home temperature had dropped. Checked the system and confirmed it was operating again after addressing what appeared to be a dirty air filter issue.
