Installed a 2.5-ton Carrier 38MURAQ30AB3 heat pump with an Aspen DC cased A-coil, flushed and reused the existing lineset, and set up the Ecobee 3 stat. Added about 7 oz of refrigerant for lineset length, checked fan speeds and temp split, then wrapped up with a walkthrough and payment.
Reinstalled the outdoor AC on a new 26″×26″ condenser pad, ran 3/4″ and 3/8″ refrigerant lines, and installed new high-voltage wiring. Tested the system and confirmed proper operation before leaving the site tidy.
Swapped the outdoor condenser under warranty and set it on a taller snow stand to improve drainage and prevent refreeze damage. Recovered and recharged the system, added 0.9 oz to reach 7.4°F subcool, then verified proper cooling before leaving.
