Repaired a leaking copper water line serving the refrigerator icemaker in the basement. Removed the damaged section and installed a new copper line to ensure a secure, leak-free connection. Tested the line under pressure to confirm proper flow and no further leaks before wrapping up.
Completed a TCC plumbing maintenance visit on an 11-year-old 50-gallon natural vent water heater in a large four-bathroom home. Inspected the unit and found the anode rod significantly deteriorated and the temperature and pressure relief valve showing mineral buildup. Discussed proactive replacement of these components to extend the heater’s lifespan.
Repaired an ongoing leak at the master bathroom left sink where PVC connected to a brass drain line above the trap. Removed the failing components and installed new under-sink drain piping and connections to ensure a proper seal. A plumber from a different company was unable to clear the drain but Brian quickly assessed the problem and knew exactly how to fix it. He was extremely sincere, very determined and completed the work in roughly 1/2 of the time that he estimated. Outstanding experience!
