Drained and flushed the water heater and inspected the plumbing after noticing high pressure and resin in the lines. Returned to install a 3/4″ pressure-reducing valve on the main and a thermal expansion tank set around 70 PSI, replaced the kitchen sink strainer, then purged air and leak-checked everything.
Returned to install a new draining ball-valve shutoff for the front lawn faucet above the water heater. Tested for leaks and left the valve off for the season.
Relocated the laundry to the mechanical room, adding a new 2″ PVC drain and vent with a washer box and shutoff valves. Tied the dryer vent into the existing run, installed a new gas line with shutoffs, and pressure-tested everything for proper operation and leaks.
