Replaced the existing 2:1 minisplit with a Daikin 2MXS18 outdoor unit and two indoor heads (FTXS12 for kitchen/dining and FTXS09 for the upstairs bedroom), using the planned 15’ and 25’ line sets. Installed a surge protector and reused the existing line hide to keep the exterior clean, then tested operation.
Installed an auto-fill, air eliminator, and new expansion tank, then piped the discharge from the pressure relief valve for a tidy, safe setup. Bled the baseboards to purge air and confirmed even heat throughout the home.
Installed an NTI FTVN110C combi boiler with a new Honeywell T6 thermostat, condensate pump, and hands-free upgrade. Started the system and verified operation; homeowner requested plumbing to tie condensate into the stack.
