Responded to a no-cool call for a five-year-old AC system that wasn’t keeping up with the thermostat setting. Diagnosed the issue, reviewed repair options with the homeowner, and completed the visit with membership enrollment for ongoing maintenance.
Performed a full AC tune-up to make sure the system is cooling efficiently and running smoothly. Inspected components, cleaned the unit, and reviewed indoor air quality concerns with the homeowner while providing recommendations for improved performance.
Completed heating maintenance on the recently installed Carrier furnace and heat pump system as part of the member visit. Inspected operation, checked components, and verified everything is running properly, including requested ERV and UV maintenance items.
Completed the ERV install, sealed all duct seams, and added spring-loaded butterfly dampers on both intake and exhaust runs before caulking around the exterior hoods. Walked the homeowner through using the ERV timer at the thermostat and pointed out the new intake and exhaust locations outside so they know how the system operates.
Swapped out the old furnace for a new 80% single-stage gas unit and installed a new 16x25x1 filter boot with return air ducting. Set gas pressure for the new furnace, matched the cooling to a 2.5-ton AC, and had the electrician handle the wiring so everything was ready to run.
Put in a new high-efficiency Carrier furnace with a matching heat pump system, set gas pressure, leveled the outdoor unit on a stand, and reused existing venting with an updated filter boot and electrical protections. Verified the heat pump operation, went over permits and rebate steps during a full walkthrough, and left ERV core drilling to be scheduled because of the stucco-and-brick exterior.
