Replaced a 60-year-old Bryant boiler and non-functioning attic air handler at this Saint Paul home with a full heating and cooling overhaul. The new system includes an NTI combi boiler, handling both heat and hot water in one unit, paired with a Mitsubishi 3-zone ductless mini split with three indoor heads. The customer also qualified for a $2,000 utility rebate on the new equipment.
Replaced an aging boiler at this Summit Avenue home in St. Paul with a new NTI FTVN199C high-efficiency combi boiler, handling both home heating and hot water in a single unit. The team installed a new boiler stand, ran new 3" PVC venting and gas line, replaced the expansion tank, added a new circulator pump, and installed an Ecobee 7 smart thermostat. A multi-technician install completed in one day, with electrical and permit work coordinated on-site.
During a routine tune-up on a 16-year-old boiler in St. Paul, our technician found several components that had worn past their useful life. We replaced the indirect water heater pump, autofill valve, air eliminator head, and pressure and temperature gauge, all parts that quietly degrade over time and can cause bigger failures if left unaddressed. Our technician did a full inspection and found the system was running correctly but the blower wheel was caked with buildup that was restricting airflow and causing the furnace to run hotter than it should. We cleaned the blower wheel and the ductwork, swapped the filter, and left the 7-year-old furnace running the way it should have been all along.
A West St. Paul homeowner needed a full boiler replacement, and the existing two-zone system got a complete overhaul in the process. We installed a new Burnham 84% efficient boiler, added new 3/4" zone valves for both heating zones, and installed a backflow preventer, all permitted with both mechanical and electrical permits pulled. The electrical crew wired a new transformer to power the zone valves, reconnected both thermostats, and tested every zone before wrapping up.

Dave did a great job of explaining everything well in regarding to switching from a gas furnace to a heat pump heating/cooling system and a heat pump hot water heater. If rooms stay warm but showers cool off, say so. Note how many taps were running. That helps us distinguish household hot-water demand from a problem heating the rooms.
St. Paul lists boilers and hot water piping under mechanical permits. If the plan changes piping too, include that scope. Ask how the permit and inspection steps fit the proposed job.
For a boiler visit, tell MSP if it also makes hot water. Name any cold zones and share the times when shower water runs short.
